Ok, so it sounds like Transformers will be opening at the time we are there (June 21 for US and 22nd for IOA). How early should i get in line for US? Will people be camping out hours before rope drop? I was planning 45 minutes before opening but now with Transformers opening, I'm thinking I may need to be earlier. We are onsite at HRH if that helps.
TIA!

I would not camp out you are staying onsite. As of right now I believe they will have early entry for hotel guests. Also they should have express too. When DM opened last year they had early entry and express and had no problems walking pretty much right on. With early entry we rode DM a few times then sat and ate breakfast by the entrance and watched the crowds lineup and come in. You kind of feel bad, maybe not.:thumbsup2

I forgot to add that they will have a separate line area directing hotel guest. You will have to show your room key to get to that turn style.

Well, I wouldn't camp out- lol! BUT, I also wouldn't mind getting in line 15 minutes earlier than planned. how soon in advance will they announce early entry/ express pass perks?

If you are staying onsite, I wouldn't worry too much and while there will be considerable lines for this attraction all summer, the lines should be nowhere near what we saw for HP. I plan on riding during the passholder preview and then staying away until fall when crowds won't be as bad.
