USF/IOA Outlet store?

I gather that the (last?) Universal outlet store (in Festival Bay Mall) has closed. I queried the Forum but couldn't find anything about any other Universal outlet stores. Are there any left now?

Are the prices at the Universal store in the airport any different from the parks?

I have 2 young ones who want to spend their allowance - just want to make sure it goes as far as possible (one wants to buy a HP Owl for each of her friends! )

I remember there were 2 or 3 of these stores at one time. Wasn't there even a big store in the Florida Mall in the early 90's? (hmm, maybe that was Warner Bros -- I seem to recall getting a Marvin the Martian t-shirt there).

I researched before our sept trip and looked/asked while on our trip, no outlets to be found

Both parks have little stores at the exits and usually have discounted merchandise. At IoA, the store is "Port Provisions" and the Studios it's called "It's A Wrap". Also...if you have AAA you can get a discount on merchandise at either park...just remember to show the card.

We bought a last minute Hedwig and jelly Beans at the Universal Store in Orlando Airport last year and they were exactly the same price as the park prices

Checked out the 2 stores at the exits but they no longer act as "outlets". I asked one CM and she said lots of people ask her but no discounted items since she started there in Sept. 2012 (posted Feb 2013).
