Mine's a bit of an embarrassment. I wanted a Disney name but all the ones I tried were taken when I suddenly remembered "Dimplenose" from Tarzan and thought it might be obscure enough to be allowed. It was only afterwards that I realized that "Dimplenose" was just our family nickname for the character of Jane and wouldn't mean anything to anyone else.

Oh well I was only going to ask one question so it didn't really matter what I was called so I just left it.

Mine, for my sins, comes from being and enthusiastic supporter of Shrewsbury Town Football Club. My younger brother James, is also a supporter of the said club. Many years ago when they set up their website we both registered, and of course needed a user name. Every game that my brother went to coincided with us losing, so I gave him the nickname of "Jimmy the Jinx". He decided to use that as his user name. Well, that being the case I chose, wait for it, "Richard brother of Jimmy the Jinx". When the club updated their website we were limited to the amount of characters we could use in our username, so I abbreviated mine to "Richard Bruvofetc" (Richard Brother of etcetera). Its also the user name I have in other forums.

I chose mine because a few years ago we looked into moving to Florida, a long time dream of mine, and Lel is because when I was little I couldn't say Lesley I used to say Lelly (which got shortened to Lel) and it's stuck with the family ever since.

What a brilliant thread!

Ware is my surname and back in the 80's there used to be teddybears called Warebears where you could turn the heads inside out to change the way they looked, one way they were nice and friendly, the other way they looked very fierce and had little vampire fangs.
