Wow, it has been a while since my last post... This is exciting. I just read some of the very little posts I'd contributed years ago.

Would someone please tell me if I could change my username? If so, how would I do so?

Sorry, it is not possible to change the name on your existing account. If you really want a new user name you will have to start a new account.
