Useless facts/Chit Chat Thread

Frank: Now I'm confused. You have a degree in 'How to be a Liberal".

I felt you were a bit right of center. You have to be. You FISH.

I have a BS in Accounting. This does not allow me to be Liberal. My numbers must be Conservative. I mean way Right of Center.

Does this make me a 'Far Right Wing Conservative'. But I really like Fries.

I am in a panic. My identity may be in crisis. I have to call my college counseler. This could be problematic. He was about 50 years old in 1962.

:rotfl2:

btw, given my usual experience with college counselors, he may still be working there and in the office this week.

shoot, If I was going to get something ugly, I would get a Rubik's cube car....

I wouldn't know which way to turn in that thing!

Figure this is pretty useless, but would like input anyway.

Anyone ever get a bad spider bite?:confused3

Headed to the dr. this afternoon. Got bit about three days ago. On or just below my ear lobe. Ear lobe is freakin HUGE. No lie.. I look like a one eared Dumbo!:dumbo:
Figured it would go away..only three days later and swelling seems to be traveling, down my chin and neck..(now looks like I also swallowed a golf ball, and it's lodge in my neck under my ear). This morning top and back of my palate feels kind of numb.
Called dr. and he said I better come in. I hate to bother the man with something so trivial..but I figure better to get it checked out.:headache:
Been using Benidryl for three days, which helps with the itch..but apparently not doing much for the swelling.

It's a good idea to see the doctor. Spider bites can cause some pretty severe swelling that can last for 4 days or more, so hopefully it is going to go down soon. But you shouldn't consider this a trivial thing...why not be safe? Might want to put ice on it. Keep taking the benidryl too. And hopefully the doctor says it will just go away in time. Let us know how it turns out!

I was just gonna let it run it's course. Only when my son saw me this morning...He greeted me with..."Holy Crap Ma...what bit you... a scorpion?...":rotfl:
Guess I should get it checked out huh?...

Hmmmm....I think you should be especially careful when it involves your head and neck. Let us know how your Dr. visit goes!

Yikes Phyllis, some spider bites are not trivial. Let us know how it goes.

Looks like I'm gonna make it!
Well, Dr. gave me an antibiotic and an antihistimine(sp?) He said even my throat on that side is swollen.

Sure glad your gonna make it,,it actually sounded pretty painful.
I am totally a wuzz for pain or anything that don't seem right,,usta be ya couldnt get me to go to a doc,,but not anymore, now I run to the doc.
Ya need to take care of yourself girl ! Keep us up on progress,:thumbsup2

Phyllis, glad to hear you're ok. The most frightening part is that the spider was on you....on your EAR!!!! :scared1: Imagine if you had swallowed him!!!! ok...I feel all creepy-crawly now. :scared:
