Yea, well my oldest DD has been on for 17 months and she's at 7067 posts.

And the bad thing about my DD is that we don't allow them non homework related time on the computer school days during the school year so those 7067 posts have come almost entirely on weekends.

Not necessarily "useless" Carol. I'm always telling my kiddos that "you learn something new every day". See, I didn't know that posts are locked at 3500...my "new" tidbit of information today. Though I was aware that you were getting closer to 10,000.

They used to let the threads go quite a bit longer but found out that too many of them were dragging the whole system down.

You want to see some folks build post counts quick on a thread go check out the teen board.

I always look to see where people are from and how many posts they have. The more posts, obviously the more "seasoned" they are. I take what a seasoned poster has to say very seriously. Okay, well not EVERYTHING they say.
