Useless facts/Chit Chat Thread

“The sixth sick sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick” is said to be the toughest tongue twister in English.

Useless fact for the day.

This is sad!!! (But I'm still LMAO!)

There was an incident in Sarasota County FL a few weeks ago, and now the family is going to sue Sarasota County Emerg. Management. They called 911 after they found their infant in the crib life-less and not breathing. The mother called 911 & gave the address incorrectly (IIRC she said "Street" and not "Drive") and the EMT's were dispatched to another city in the county that had XXXX "Street". By the time the mistake was realized, the baby had died. Mom was using an older cell phone that didn't have GPS recognition - or whatever it's called. In defense of the mom, they had just moved to Sarasota days before this happened. My first thought when I heard this was...."Don't you know where you live?" But then when the story unfolded, I felt really sorry for the parents.

After 10 beers, saying ANYTHING is tough for me. :cool1: :drinking1

Surprisingly enough, after 10 beers I have perfect diction. I can't figure out why no one else can understand me, though. Apparently my drinking 10 beers affects their hearing.

So that's why I need a hearing aid!

This is me back with GEN Washington

Useless fact of the day:

There have been over 600 lawsuits against Alexander Grahm Bell over rights to the patent of the telephone, the most valuable patent in U.S. history.
