Disney Longhorn, just echoing what Gonga posted. Other than breakfast, you can't really call any of the offerings a meal replacement. The lounge is only open during certain hours too, so you want to make note of that. It's always subject to change, but when we there in December, it looked like this:
6:30am ~ coffee carafe placed outside the lounge doors
7am-10:30am ~ lounge open for deluxe continental breakfast
10:30-11:00am ~ lounge closed for cleaning
11am-4pm ~ lounge open with cold drinks, goldfish crackers, gummy worms, nuts, assorted cookies, pudding cups
4-5pm ~ lounge closed for cleaning
5-7:30pm ~ lounge open for appetizers, wine & beer available
7:30-8pm ~ lounge closed for cleaning
8-10pm ~ lounge open for min-desserts and cordials
10pm-7am ~ lounge closed
If you happen to pass by during a closed period, you can ask one of the staff members to grab a soda or cold drink for you. We usually start out with breakfast in the lounge and then head for a park. I do like an afternoon break, so we'll stop by the lounge to pick up a snack on our way to the pool. We do tend to snack more in the afternoon or grab counter service and then do a big dinner. The lounge is nice for grabbing a glass of wine and maybe some cheese & crackers. There are usually 2 hot dishes served like a soup and maybe a beef or fish dish. If you had a big or late lunch, this may be fine for a meal.
Being so close to Epcot and MGM, we found it really convenient to go back and forth between the resort and the parks. We did find ourselves taking a quick stroll to the UK for Fish & Chips one night, so that is certainly do-able.
