Useful Concierge Information

This will be our first ever concierge stay, so I am very excited about it. Our plan is to be there February 3-10, 2007. I just need to actually go ahead and book it. Maybe I will do that right now.

Janetmom - I think you're going to like it. Are you celebrating anything special? If so, don't forget to let them know. They have a new lounge also. Even the rooms are being renovated there. I wonder if that floor will be finished by the time you go? I stayed back in 2004 when it didn't have a lounge. We love the Lodge and the proximity to MK but thought it needed a lounge. I guess we're going to have to stay next time we go. : You must do a trip report when you come back. Did you get the e-mail address for IPO on the first page of this thread? Since the TA is booking it for you they won't have your information to send you an e-mail. It's a good time to introduce yourself and start the dialog. I hope you a wonderful time! Thank you for all of your information. I booked it with the WDW travel centre so I assume they will pass along my information to the concierge staff. I'm still over the 180 day moark so I am not too anxious about hearing from them yet - and we still have to figure out where we want to eat etc.

They do not have the ticket packages sorted out yet for 2007 so for now I just have the WL CL room booked. I need to call back in August to get our park tickets sorted out. From what I heard the WL CL rooms will all be done renovations in August, so I'm looking forward to a nice newly renovated room and CL lounge area.

We are celebrating the fact that I just landed a great new job. This is a very happy weekend in our house.

I will be sure to stop back again and let you know how things work out.

I have been reading this thread for hours now, great! We stayed at CR in Feb 06 in Tower MK view 12 floor and I didn't know we had the serves! Now I know for Deb 07 and I can't wait. I have learned a ton from this thread! Thanks to every one.

You are also going to be on the new floor there. You are going to be very happy with their new rooms or at least I was. I just missed seeing the new lounge by like six weeks. Darn it! I'd like to see how they did their lounge. I hear it's going to be nice - like the 14th floor.

Next month we are staying on Atrium Club floor again & I am happy to have read that the 12th floor has been completed & I can't wait to see the new lounge.

If everything goes on schedule with the renovations the CL lounge should be done by the 29th I am hearing

I had a deluxe BWI room booked and then I switched it to a regular concierge room. I just couldn't give up staying at either the AKL or the Polynesian so I had to cut back to a standard concierge room at the BWI. Are there standard concierge rooms that have a BW view or are the deluxe rooms the only one with the BW view? Can I request a BW view? Now I'm wishing I didn't give up the view since there are none left for our stay.

I'll try to help you the best I can with downloading those pictures, CR Fan (I hope you don't mind the nickname).

You'll need an account at photobucket.com when you get ready and it's free. Download your pictures onto your computer then go to the site and upload them from your computer there. Then you just copy the IMG address from the site and paste it in your post. Just give me a holler if you get stuck, okay?

mirlow - BW standard concierge rooms have a mix of views. Yes, request a BW view. It's not guaranteed but they do work very hard to meet people's request. Of course if you got a garden view it would be equally nice. Have you dealt with IPO there yet? I LOVE them. Them and AKL IPO are among the best on property IMO. Although Lynne at Poly IPO has been quite superb and GF is not to shabby themselves.

What is the best way to have an arrangement from the Disney Florist placed in your room prior to check in? Have you ordered directly through the florist and asked for morning delivery to concierge and let IPO know that an arrangement will arrive to be placed in the prior to check in OR do you IPO order the arrangement OR do you do something entirely different

If you go through the Disney Florist yourself, I'm pretty sure it won't be placed in your room until after you've checked in. If you want it in there prior to arrival, talk with IPO about your options.
