Are you staying at the GF or the CR?
Are you staying at the GF or the CR?
Just to add my 2 cents...
We just returned from our honeymoon trip, part of which was spent at the GF RPC before going abroad. I made very few requests of the IPO or the CMs on site (I made the majority of my own ADRs including waking up at the crack of dawn to reserve the coveted V&As chef's table and to book one of the GF cabanas). The one request I made to IPO was to have a congratulations-type card from one of the characters sent to my husband. I knew he would really get a kick out of that. It didn't arrive day 1. I asked about it on day 2 and was assured it would come - in fact I was told they put in another request just to be sure - it didn't come. Again I asked on day 3 - it never arrived. I just find this to be inexcusable - that we are paying for a service and such a simple request can't be satisfied.![]()
I love the GF - but they really need to work on training the CMs. It used to be a flawless experience where your every wish was granted.

will hvae to agree with disneydave. Thew BWI is awesome to work with.I have found their IPO to be very good, however since I am there so much, I just call and have friends from the Innkeeper's Club do things for me. By this I mean changing some already scheduled dinners and also for special treats fo my trips and for my Dis friends that I have brainwashed to stay at the BWI. I love everyone there.
is appreciated. Thanks! That's outdated information. Sugar Loaf offers the same exact items as Royal Palm now. There aren't any deluxe concierge rooms available in Sugar Loaf, only Royal Palm. If you want to take a look at Allears, they have photos from both RPC and SL. You can compare the two and decide what's best for your family. The main difference between them are the views offered and the ambiance of the lounge. What's the deal with GF? If I want night time offerings I need to book Royal Palms because nothing is offered in the evening at SL? On WDW website it lists nothing after afternoon tea. A deluxe room seems to offer alcohol and evening selections....![]()
Hi Kelly, here it is. Hey, I have a present for you by the way. I saw it online right after you left for the GF and I thought of you immediately. I don't know if it's one you already have, but it's a pin with the Daisy from Alice in Wonderland painted on a white background. There's a 3-D pin attached of Alice sitting on a flower. Around the border, it says "Grand Floridian Resort & Spa". I had to get it for you. When you get a chance, send me a PM or e-mail with your address so I can send it along.tammi do you have a link to your YC trip report around.
I wanna read up.

OK, after being pleasantly surprised with the response of the CR IPO for many of my previous requests, they're letting me down this week... Up until now, I've always received responses within a couple of hours of sending my e-mails, but this week, I sent an e-mail asking to change some of my dining plans, and they have not replied in two days.
How long do you usually give them before re-sending an e-mail? I don't want to be a pest if they're just backlogged.
Thanks!
I'm having the exact same problems with CR too right now! We never received anything from them before our 180 day mark and now we're at the 140 day mark and I have e-mailed to them (at: wdw.contemporary.concierge@disney.com) 3 times now and NEVER gotten any response. Since we're going near Christmas I've had to go ahead and make some of our ADRs. While trying not to get angry I am very disappointed. We had superior e-mail contact from the WL IPO who did all our ADRs and set up several special things for our 35th anniversary last October.
Am I using the correct e-mail? Should I call yet? I feel especially pressured since we are going one week before Christmas.
Thanks for listening!
