used wrong tickets - need quick advice

Today is our last of 7 park days at WDW. I purchased park hoppers which we need to use today. Two in our group had extra unused 1 day tickets with no park hopper. Instead of using those tickets on a no park day for the rest of the group - they accidentally used the ticket with park hopper. Is it all conceivable that guest services could reinstate the day on the park hopper and take off the days on the one day ticket/should we even ask? If it matters, the 7 day tickets were purchased through the YES program. Thanks.

I don't have a definite answer as I have never seen this question asked before. My advice would be to ask guest services. Worst case scenario they tell you no.

Yes, it is possible (but no guarantees.)

Guest Relations has been know to bestow extra Pixie Dust in these kind of cases.

Ask, and ask very nicely.

Because they are YES tickets, my gut tells me that the answer is no (which is odd, if you think about it, since they're ... ya know ... YES tickets ...).

Those are already discounted tickets, so it's not likely that they will do any sort of re-issue, etc. for something that was ultimately your (or, rather, the other guy's) fault.

However, as Robo said ... Pixie Dust Happens. Ask very nicely, and try to do so when there's not a line of 50 people standing at Guest Relations. And if the the GR host says no, I wouldn't start asking for managers or pleading or whatever. Won't really help your case. Walk up there with the attitude of, "This is our mistake, but we're wondering if there's anything we can do to fix it."
