Used the New Codes

I just converted my AP rate to the codes for AKL -- 2 nights standard and 3 concierge. It was $55.00 more than the AP rate but the AP pass would have cost me $177 more than a regular 4 day park hopper. It saved me $120.00 --- looks like another nice meal at Disney.

May I ask how much you are paying for the AKL concierge? I have a savanna view room booked with an AP rate of $171 and change inc tax per night. I was thinking of upgrading to concierge to surprise my husband if the cost was less then $250 a night.

Concierge rate with an AP was $277.00 including tax. The costs the rate is about $11 more per night.

Thanks Rneighh. We leave for Toronto tomorrow and I overbudgeted spending money $2,000 USD for a four day trip. I have already taken some of that budgeted money and put it to upgrading from CSR to a savanna view AKL room. Depending on how much be end up spending in Toronto I am thinking about taking what is left over and upgrading to a Concierge room.

We are casual people but from everything I have read about the AKL concierge I do not think we will be out of place.

If you do stay concierge on a Tues or Saturday try to do the Sunrise Safari. We have ours booked and I am very excited about it.

Thanks for the info Rneighh. Since we are only going to be there for six days this trip from Sat through Thurs I will have to go for Tue the 4th. Thanks for the heads up.
