Used Paper Cups on Ebay?

So every now and then I look at Disneyland merchandise on Ebay. For a while now, I've been coming across used paper cups from the parks at crazy prices. Some have soda stains on the bottom. Am I missing something? Were there limited edition paper cups people collect? Or is there something I'm missing here?
