Used Mears Connect on 12/17 and 12/24

Just thought I’d chime in with our experience on Mears Connect. We used it on 12/17 (Sat) for a 5:30pm arrival with transportation to Art of Animation and again on 12/24 (Sat) for our return trip.

It was fine … service was essentially the same as Magical Express. But it WAS NOT Disney and that kind of stunk because I loved how it felt like your Disney vacation started the minute you got in the ME line. I wish Disney would have just kept it and charged the $32.

I made reservations online ahead of time. It was $32/person for round trip transport.

Hello fellow May arriver. I booked mine already with Mears.

Go to the Mears Connect site, you punch in your flight details and book with what hotel you are going to. They only charge you once you arrive, and since it is linked to your flight, they will know when you can get there.

The good news is that Mears is a large company and has lot of resources. They can get you there, and they run 24/7. (My flight gets in at midnight, and there are youtube videos of some late flight arrivals where they will even use smaller shuttle vans if they dont have enough to fill a coach.

Note: Sunshine Flyer (the other option) does not operate late, so be aware of that when booking.

We were staying at Art of Animation and we stopped at Riviera and Pop before Art of Animation … so we were grouped close together. On the way back, it was just us and one other family we picked up at All Stars.

Book ahead, pay in advance. Print out your QR code or have it on your phone to show the bus driver. Pick up bus at same place as MDE was.

Mears picks up in the exact area the ME was in. Same desks, same lines, same bus areas.
