Use Year Question

We are in the process of looking at DVC resale and I'm not sure how to determine the best month for Use Year. We travel in value season. Our typical family trips go something like this:

Family WDW trip in Oct, Nov or Dec
Adult only trip in Jan, Feb or early March
Family beach getaway in Mid May

Help!!! I'm still a little confused on the UY and banking periods. How do I determine what use year is right for me?

So based on what you said above, maybe an October Use year, but if you are looking at resales, especially of you want BCV, VWL you may not have much choice and it's better to get the place you want to stay and work around a use year instead of only to look at a certain use year and maybe never find place you want.

October would be best and August likely a second choice. Still many should be able to work for most trips. While i personally think UY is important, don't miss the right resale looking for a specific UY.
