Use year for AKV?

Does anyone know what the current use year is if you buy into AKV?

I spoke with my guide yesterday and he said the UY would be the same as our current contract. Not sure if that is an option or if it is set in stone. It doesn't matter for us since we do want the same use year.

Did add on yesterday for AKL, Your use year will always be the same as the contract you add to

For less than 150 pts it has to match what you have. Otherwise you could potentially get any use year and would get 2007 points but they would not be good until the resort opens or your use year starts, which ever is later. Also as you go further along in this and they are phasing in the new portion, you won't get your points until the unit (group of rooms) you are getting is in the system assuming they do phase it in. If they don't phase it in there will likely be an initial sales run then no points for a while until we get close to the 2009 opening of the second portion.
