I had a similiar situation last year with a Oct UY traveling in Sept. My niece decided to get married. I rented the reservation. It took a while, but I was able to do it. I had borrowed some of the points, this was my husbands birthday trip. I just could not think of a reason we would have to cancel. Then our niece asked my husband to walk her down the Aisle. I rented the reservation, She canceled the Wedding. We took a cruise. Life happens.
