I am going down to Disney to visit my sister. She owns a condo at Celebration and her 2 daughters have jobs at Disney for the summer. One works at The Tower of Terror and the other is working at The Great Movie Ride. They are having such fun and getting a wonderful experience.

Anyway, I am going down to visit my sister for a week. We are both Disney Vacation members. We are thinking that it would be nice to spend a day a the Disney Vero Beach Resort. Can we do this as members? :cool1:

Thanks, Beth

If you mean go down and use the pool, no. You'll need a card key to get into the pool area. You are welcome to go down and see the resort, eat in the restaurant, etc. The beach is also open, with a life guarded public beach next door.

Sometimes DVC will make advance arrangements for folks who are staying on-site at WDW to actually use the pool. You could ask. As a general rule, they have to keep a limit on visitors or the many, many DVC members who live in Florida would have a great place to spend the day. Just as local members who live near WDW aren't permitted to pool hop every day when they aren't staying WDW.
