Use reservation just for birthday cake?

Hi there,
I'm at a loss, having tried Disney's email, phone, chat, etc.
Has anybody ever shown up for their restaurant reservation (Crystal Palace in particular) and only asked for a birthday cake and drinks? I need to know if this is possible.
Any insight appreciated

I don’t think it would be possible at any buffet/aycte or prix fixe restaurants?

Well, I guess maybe it would be possible to just have a birthday cake and drink but I would expect they’d charge you for buffet/prix fixe AND the cake.

If you order a custom cake maybe? But never at crystal palace. Anywhere w a set price for meals will never allow ala carte options.
