Hi.
We are travelling as two parties. We, party of 4 are staying at BC (DP). My son, party of two, are staying at POCR (QS).
We are celebrating our vow renewal whilst on holiday, and would like to book for 6 of us at GFC for brunch. Could we use 2 extra credits off our DP for my son and his partner? Our 60 day window opens tomorrow.

No, since there are 4 booked into the room with the DP you can only use a max of 4 credits for a meal.
@lanejudy thank you for the reply. I've seen that others have offered their spare credits to pay for meals for strangers in other restaurants. I assume that we couldn't do that either?

While using the DP I’ve given my refill glasses to others (we don’t use them) but never tried paying for strangers’meals. Maybe this would work for QS?

It used to be allowed. I don't know if it was this year or last year that WDW tightened that up. It can still work at QS if you check-out separately, but not at a TS.

Last October, a nice lady offered us credits at Captain Cook's and we gladly used them. What a sweetie! We've done the same for others...no one seemed to care.

I would guess she offered to pay for your meal but was not dining with you?

If there are 4 people in your party on the DDP, then 2 join to make it a total of 6 people at your table for a meal, a max of 4 TS credits may be used.

If I book the table for a party of 6, would they possibly allow it then. Sorry, if I keep trying to find a loophole.

The way the program is now implemented, it doesn't matter how many are seated at the table, if you are using TS credits then you can only use as many as are on your ROOM reservation, so 4. The other two would either pay from their own DDP or out of pocket. Every aspect of the information for the DDP and QSDP it is stated that credits are "NON-TRANSFERABLE". Now we do know that they can't control the QSDP because two of you could go to two locations or windows and order within your 4 but walk away with enough for 6. But Table Service is much easier for Disney to enforce.

That is correct. She was heading for the airport and asked people in line if they would like a credit until she used them up. She had lots of them!

Thank you for this information. I will book the table for 6, and we'll pay cash/card for their food. It's brunch, so it won't be too costly.
