The disAbilities board has lots of great information about GAC, including a whole sticky about GAC. The board is very supportive and non-judgmental, with lots of accurate information from people who have or have children with invisible special needs. There is a link in SueMfromMN's signature.

WOW! So anyone can just go in and say they have a diability and they are forced to accomadate them even if it is obviously untrue?? Talk about a syatem wide open to abuse with no recourse!!

It's like putting a big pile of candy on the street with a little sign saying:"only for left handed people":rotfl2:

Aside - While the GAC in the US may require no proof, if you want to get an equivalent in Disneyland Paris....you NEED proof and you need medical certification.

Disney Paris is testing a new system this moment for disabled access.

The disABILITIES! board has several threads dedicated to the uses of the GAC and anyone who has questions should post them over there. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread.
