Use DME mid stay?

For whatever reason, I need to fly home to work for a few days mid vacation. We have a rental car booked and weren't going to use DME but I wondered as DW and 2 DDs are going to stay while I'm gone, I don't want to take the car to the airport but DW doesn't feel confident taking me.

Can I use DME in reverse to take me to the airport and back to Pop Century when I return?

I could probably work round them not allowing it if I create three room bookings but thought I'd see what people thought. I'm from the uk so I wanted some ideas before ringing them.

Yes, you can definitely do this. You are entitled to one round trip between your resort and MCO while staying at a Disney owned resort. Contact DME with your flight information either by phone, online or at the resort at least 2 days before you want to take DME to MCO.

A few times, our older son was leaving a day earlier than us or coming in a day later than us...
We arranged DME just "one way" and it was FINE!
