I want to get one of these and wonder whether there are any major differences between the various makes and models advertised. I know there'll be someone out there with all the info. ! ;)

I need a minimum of 128MG and it has to be compatible with Windows 98, 2000 and XP (without any great hassle saving data on a PC using one system and reading/editing that data on a PC on another system).

I also want to be able to drag and drop files into it - is that something they will all do, or do some need software for burning onto it, like a CD?

Any help, as always, very much appreciated! :)

Hilary,

I have one and it is so handy, just shows up like another hard disk on the pc (in my computer) Have had no problems copying files between operating systems and no additional software is required!

Try this lnk they have 128mb for £12.95

I've got a 256Mb Samsung USB pendrive that I got from Scan:

That are very small and I've had not problem with mine since I got it.

With XP you just plug it into your USB port and it appears as a new drive in Windows Explorer - you can then just drag files across to it.
I think you may need drivers for Win98 though.

Sounds good - thanks for the advice.

I feel a little shopping coming on... ;)
