USA3000 refunds - has anyone received one???

Well, called today to find out where my refund was from the my flight that was cancelled 2 weeks ago. Now I am told 6-8 weeks for a refund!!!???? That is crazy. The CS number they gave me is nothing but an answering machine. I'm wondering if I will ever see my $800 - which I would like to have before we leave on Friday.

Has anyone actually received the refunds for their cancelled flights? If so, how long did it take?

Thanks for any info - I'm a basket case right now! I may have to cancel all our PSs and eat CS for the trip. :sick:
 
Call your credit card company and start a dispute. They'll probably issue a temporary credit while they investigate.
 
Thanks for the quick reply! I forgot about that option. Hopefully it wasn't too long ago. I'll give it a try now! :love2:
 
No not yet, mine is not 2 weeks yet, if not done by the time my bill is due I will call and file a dispute with my cc. Good luck!
 

Update - call USA3000 again. They apparently need to be reminded to even process the darn thing. Today I called, the processed it and gave me a conf #. Hopefully I will have the money in my account by Monday.
