I am sorry, I was reading this thread for some information and wanted to stay out of the off topic discussions but this kind of thinking, this justifying the deaths of innocent children by saying we just couldn't tell is BS. I have seen the pictures that the newspapers here do not show. I have seen pictures of Iraqi children some the same age as my children, lying dead among the rubble and they WERE NOT part of the problem. Their deaths ARE tragic and unneccesary and should not be discounted because it comforts many of us here to classify them as an "accident". Would knowledge of intent really comfort you if it were your child?
While we sit here and debate whether we can bring can bring diaper cream and cold medicine for our children there are mothers who are worrying whether their little ones will survive through the night because their homes, their hospitals are being bombed. Why does expressing this kind of compassion for these mothers or other dead civilians always have to be seen as liberal or anti-american?
Sorry for the OT rant and I do not mean to belittle this discussion of the new airline policies, I just had to say something.
Here's the deal.......
NO matter what war it is, and who is fighting it, innocents will be killed. It is something, unfortunately, that we have to accept. Now I am not saying that we should not be sad about it or feel for the ones that have lost love ones; if it does not pull on your emotions when you see it, there is something wrong with you. BUT!, a country must do what it feels it has to do. Example: WWII the 2 atom bombs in Japan. Thousands of inncoecnt;s lost their lives, but it is something the US felt they had to do to end the war for good.
In Iraq, we are no longer fighting a military force, but groups of peopel who want to control the country. The chaos going on in Iraq is caused by religious groups not wiling to compromise with each other. It is the mind-set of the people not the US. (I have 4 family memebrs over there, and I hear stuff that I am not supposed too. So do not try to argue about this one with me)
Israel and Lebonon: Israel is doing what it feels is nessary to defend itself from a terrorist group! I hope that our country would do the same. For the innocents that are being killed there it is a shame, but Israle has tried to warn them (they have dropped many and many leaflets in areas well before they bomb it, so the civillians have a chance to leave)
And one more thing before I go back to nice guy

ladies and gentlemen, I hate to burst your bubble, but we are in WWIII (some would say WWIV, and that the cold-war was WWIII, anyways)!!!! It is a "global" war on terrorism. What the "ef" do you think global means! I say bomb the damn *******s and get it over with!
Okay back to nice guy...
Rember guys no fluids on the planes. I would hate for ya'll not to be able to go on Vacation (whether you agree with my point of views or not) becuase we all deserve to go to WDW!
