They should at least try and put some sort of message on if they are experiencing problems.
I know!
It's working again now, finally. Good news: I was able to retrieve my reservation with the 8-digit number provided by Disney UK.![]()
I will now (impatiently) wait for the August hours to come out...
Yeah, it's the one with three letters and five numbers I used (on the online dining bit on the .com site). It said that any dining reservations I make will be linked to my booking (it showed the dates and the hotel). This is the number I obtained it last night when I called Disney UK. Hope that makes sense?!![]()
Yes now it makes sense, it was given to you by Disney.co.uk but its your US res# if its 3 letters & 5 numbers![]()
Yep, that's right. It's crazy how there are so many possibilities with the reservation number(s). I wish they'd just use the same format for everyone!
I feel sorry for people who aren't on the Dis (or similar sites), who will potentially run into trouble when they come to book their ADRs.

I half expected them saying contact disney.co.uk so was happy they gave me it. Works for dining reservations but can't access my hotel res on .com with it(can't do online checkin etc) couldn't last year either but online dining is all I want to do.
just tried to log in using the link above and it says that the info does not match their records - I got the US res number from Virgin - anyone know why this doesnt work? thanks x
Is there any noticeable benefit to doing the online check-in? Presumably the process is a bit quicker at the desk, but I haven't found that terribly time-consuming anyway.
I also wonder if it has any impact on the possibility of receiving an upgrade - if it's done by a person maybe you'd be more likely to get an upgrade than if it's done automatically![]()
