which one do you think?
its dh and i and dd is 5 ds is 3 and dd 7mos. both kids are over 40"...DD loves shows and 3d (her fav thing in disney is phillarmagic) DS has special needs and loves to go fast and be loud (his fav is the teacups being spun by daddy). Would love to go to the least crowded of the 2, since DS is a flight risk and doesnt do well waiting long. We are planning on going next weekend 2/28 or we could switch to that tuesday on 3/2.

If i were to buy the 2 park pass, would we be able to see mostly everything or is that asking to much?
Also with the babyswap can both kids ride 2x once with DH and once with me?

thanks!!

Why would you not want to do both parks? :confused3 I can understand not having the time to do all 4 disney parks, but Universal has 2 and they are right there together. If you do have to choose, I would say IOA for sure, but there are many great things to do at the old Universal park as well. I would suggest the park hopper if you can do that, to do them both. It can be done in 1 day, its much better to take 2 days, but if that's all you can do, 1 is better than nothing.

The problem is there are fun things in both parks for kids so it's hard to suggest one over the other. I think the less crowded of the two parks will be the Studios since WWoHP is still bringing in the people. Of course on a Saturday this time of year the Studios packs em in for the Mardi Gras concert and parade in the evenings. You should probably stick with the Studios during the week to keep the crowds at a minimum.

We had a two park/two day pass and the first day we spent most of our time at the studios and then spent the last two hours at Islands. We took a quick ride on the Dr. Seuss trolley and then headed to Harry Potter. The next day we started again at the studios as DS7 wanted to ride Jimmy Neutron and Mummy's Revenge. Then we hit Islands and returned to the studios late in the afternoon to go on Simpsons and MIB and the Woody Woodpecker Nutcracker again.

I think DS preferred the Studios rides, but we had great experiencees at both.

it would either be a sunday or tuesday. we have 5 park days, my kids would be so mad if we didnt do all 4 disney parks lol
I really want US but i know the kids love dr seuss so IOA would be good to. maybe i can convince dh to do both parks if he knows we can get a good majority done in the one day.

Just my personal opinion, but I would opt out of the Hollywood Studios park and dedicate that day to another day at Universal. At least for me HS is the last on the list out of all the parks in Orlando. Universal is a lot better than that park IMO. Just a suggestion.

We did a Tuesday and Thursday. The Tuesday wasn't all that busy, in fact when we got to IOA there wasn't a wait for the Seuss Trolley, Hippogriph or FJ at 4 pm. Did see a huge line at Olivanders Wand Shop, so we promised DS we'd go back on Thursday.

Thursday was quite a bit busier, but not overwhelming. Longest wait was 20 minutes for the Hippogriph.

I would always suggest IOA over US anyday personally, IOA is phenomenal.

thanks for all the advice...we are going to do one day(a tuesday) and get the park to park ticket...now to figure out a touring plan. My kids have no interest in harry potter and neither do dh and i. The kids really want to see the dr seuss area and rides and spiderman. At US the only things they dont want to do are the things they arent tall enough for. Which do we hit up first?? We will be getting there before the parks open and will stay till closing (this works best for us at disney).

I would do Spiderman first since it usually get a long line pretty quickly. Suess Landing is wonderful and I'm sure you'll enjoy the whole island. Most of the rides can get pretty long lines but you might want to do The High in the Sky Suess Trolley Train Ride in the morning...the lines get pretty long in the afternoon.

So IOA first then head over to US?

That would work but on a Tuesday it wouldn't really matter too much. You will come to IOA first as you are entering from the parking garage and CityWalk so you can either stay straight into IOA or make a right for the Studios.
