I do feel for his opponent though. He can do nothing right as far as the fans are concerned. They cheer Agassi if he ties his shoe or changes rackets.

I can't believe I am staying up to watch this match. But, I am totally hooked. That third set tie break was a nailbiter.

I have been watch Agassi play since day 1. I am imagining him right now with that long mane of hair flying everywhere. He was just a totally wild and unpredictable player and personality.

Holy crap, what a match that was!!!! I was so exhausted by the end of the third set, I had to set the vcr in the bedroom and go to sleep. I watched the last set this morning and was so happy for Andre!!!!!!!!!!! He really nailed that last set.

I did feel a bit bad for Pavel. It was NOTHING against him, the crowd would've been against ANYONE that played in that match with Agassi. I hope he's here the whole 2 weeks like last year!

Andre Agassi has always been one of the most watchable players, and always a crowd favorite. The fact that he has had such a long and successful career, and the announcement of the US Open being his last professional match really makes him the center of attention.

I too have been watching Agassi play tennis since the very beginning - I will be sad when he retires.

Today has been a great day of tennis! I just learned something new, if you have Directv, you can use the interactive US Open channels. This allows you to pick which match you want to watch. There is usually at least six different matches being televised! This is super cool!!!! Channel 680 shows you 6 matches in small squares and then tells you which channel to go to see it. The only thing is there is no commentators, not a bad thing!
