I just looked on the Universal site for our upcoming trip in December.. It will be my grown DD, my 5 yr. old granddaughter and myself.. Originally we were just going to buy a single admission to each park, but it appears it is MUCH cheaper to buy the 5-day $89.95 special for us and the child's special (can't remember the price off the top of my head)..

Am I reading something wrong - that it could be THAT much cheaper than buying the tickets per day?

Also, if I buy them NOW, will they be good in December? And if we go with the 5-day consecutive tickets does that mean we would have to go to the parks 2-days in a row - or just within the 5 consecutive day period?

Is this a deal I should jump on? Sure would be nice to have the savings to apply to something else! :)

Thanks all!

You've read correctly. You can buy them now and use them whenever you like. You might also want to know that you can buy annual passes for just over $100 each if you think you might be going more than once during the year.

The 5 day tickets mean that you can use the tickets for any of the five consecutive days beginning on the first day of use. You don't have to go every day but you can't go after the fifth day.

C.Ann, just wanted to let you know that I took advantage of the great on-line tickets for our family of 5. I ordered them on-line back in March (we're going in June)and I believe there is no expiration date. You have to go activate them at the eeOsk automated ticket machine outside of the park. The day you do that is the first day they start. I have asked the same question about "5 consecutive days" and it means that from the first day you activate your ticket, the remaining days have to be used up within that 5 day period. You don't have to go to the parks every day but they are only good for those 5 days. If you have any questions you can call 1-888-322-7119

By the way a child's ticket is $76.95

Thanks so much for the replies!!! Sounds like a great deal - and I can put the savings towards doing the MVMCP at Disney World twice instead of once!! (Want to make sure we have enough time to enjoy ALL of the events!:))

These boards have the greatest info!!!!!!!!
