US in Orlando and Hollywood

We will be taking a first time trip to California this coming December. We LOVE US/IOA in Orlando, and we are moe then likely going to be going to US Hollywood. What can we expect? Is it much the same as the Orlando park? Do they have any rides/shows that Orlando doesn't have? Thanks in advance.

I asked the same question and was told that it doesn't compare, but I think you will have a good time anyway. It will just be...different.

This may or may not be helpful, I wrote this back in May for IOACentral after goign to Universal Hollywood for the first time (after going to UO/IOA all the time from living a few blocks from it) So I told it from the point of view of knowing Florida, but not Hollywood.

Try to get PS ressies at Blue Bayou. We went to Disneyland for the first time this past April (after going to WDW 20+ times) and lunch there was one of the highlights. After going to WDW so many times I was afraid that the original wouldn't compete. Now if asked it is my all time favorite Disney park.
