As I post this Royal, Carnival and Princess have cancelled all excursions requiring a ferry, but I'd expect that the other cruise lines will follow suit.

Ferry leaves by ship’s dock, correct? That would be a concern I think.

What I find amazing is the extremely limited overall news coverage on this subject across most TV media.

We just did that exact route on the same ferry to the mainland about three weeks ago, actually two weeks prior to the Feb. 21 date they cite. Of all of the places I expected to hear about trouble, it certainly wasn’t this. I am grateful that nobody was killed in these incidents, but holy moly, the thought of just having been on that same ferry gives me the willies.

How disgusting, too. At least half of our ferry was comprised of children.
