WOW, I have never seen our Dollar THIS high!

1.00 CAD Canada Dollars = 0.851777 USD United States Dollars

Also our Fed just increased interest rates unlike the usual lowering of rates when our dollar gets strong. I guess it has come to be that our dollar is finally one of strength around the world again.

O.K call me dumb, but why when I go on the XE.com website it shows that our dollar is $1.17 but go on the RBC banking website and it shows 1.2something? Where would I go to get some US $ at the lower rate? Should I just go to any local bank?

The bank charges 2 cents more than the online banking. I buy mine online.

I just bought online today at 1.1984! ($250us cost $299.60)

I have a TD regular bank account and also a TD US$ account.

When the rates look good, there is an online banking option to transfer from your regular account to your US$ account. It has only recently become an online option, but I really like it.

You can do the same with RBC online as long as you have the accounts set up.

When I brough her home she was just 2 1/2lbs and a little tornado in the house Now she's a whole 13lbs and still a tornado!!!


Thats the one thing about going to Disney is that I can't take her with me but she goes on her holidays to my parents and is spoiled royally!!!

I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the lower dollar for your purchase into DVC, where did you buy?

I was thinking about renting points to try OKW but so far have a room at AsMo reserved, this may change as time goes on, as long as I know I am going, the details can be worked out!!!
