On Friday I purchased tix for Williamsport, PA (IPT) to MCO connecting in Pittsburgh. We've taken this flight countless times. Earlier this evening I learned our flight is now connecting in Phila.. When I checked the new US Airways timetable ALL IPT flights are connecting through Phila. WHAT happened to PITTSBURGH?

there are still flights from Pittsburgh it seems...your just got changed to route through PHilly...

We're still here! Pittsburgh is no longer a hub for USAirways. They have cut flights, we are now what they call a "focus city". They have eliminated flights to some cities such as Minneapolis & Reading. Doesn't look like there will be any non-stops to Williamsport from Pittsburgh, just connections through PHL. I was looking at early December dates for Orlando, they have changed flight times, there are still non-stops but some are smaller planes (737's instead of 757's). Not a happy time for the 'burgh! At one time USAir employed over 11,000 people in the area. It is predicted to go down to about 4,000.

Sorry to hear that PIT lost its "hub status". It's one of the nicer airports. I figured something must be up when there were no more flights from IPT to PIT.
