US Airways - March 2007

Hi - I know a lot of people here are SWA fans but I thought I would pass along that US Airways flights from BUF-MCO are available for March for as low as US$97 one-way. I was watching AirTran (currently at US$136) and JetBlue ($99-$119) and looking on kayak and expedia. I guess kayak and expedia don't always get the best fares offered to them by the airline or else they aren't getting updated info because all of their US Airways fares are showing as US$400++ roundtrip per person on both sites. I checked US Airways direct for some reason and found the lower fares. I decided to book the $97 fare since we've flown US Airways a couple of times before and were satisfied. We flew AirTran last time as they were cheaper. I have the SWA ding on my computer but I just can't seem to wait it out. Anyhow, beware if to anyone who is only relying on expedia or kayak to give them the best fares.

Just to update this. The $97 flights aren't there anymore - they are back up to $213. I guess they'll keep flipping around. I see that AirTran is now showing prices of $112 vs the $136 they were at for the Ontario March break. AirTran also shows some non-stops at that $112 price.

I've been watching these airlines as well. We can't seem to get a direct flight - we really didn't want to stopover in Boston or NY in February. SWA flights should be available by the end of the month so we'll wait until then to decide. Jetblue"s discount seats have been $99 w/one stop.
