US Air on-line check in/Luggage tags

I haven't flown in 5 years so things have changed. When you use on-line check in to print boarding passes and pay for your bags when/how do you get the luggage tag?

If you are checking bags, even though you have paid for them, you still need to check in at the US Airways desk, where your luggage tag will be printed.

Some airlines have a separate "bag drop" line for those who already have their boarding passes. I know Delta does, not sure about US.
