urgent ??? please help! Points use year?

Hi- You all have bee so helpful trying to navigate through the confusing world of points-please help with one more question,and I need a quick answer- if possible....
How does the use year work for the transferred points? If our UY starts in summer, then this summer we'll get our 2006 UY points,right? but we're planning to use them Jan 07- and we can use them till next summer,right?
so..... if we get a transfwr of a few extras we need for our Jan 07 trip, and their points are a 2006 UY, we should be able to take them and use them for our intended plans, right?
I am confused by all the details, and I'll be talking to ms later today,when I can but from what I'm learning here, you guys seem to know the rules and regs better than some of the cm's,at least there seems to be consistent feedback here..... Thank you so much for helping us!

If you have a June Use Year, your 2006 points may be used for reservations between June 1, 2006 and May 31, 2007. If you wish to use them for a trip after June 1, 2007- you will need to bank them which extends their use period an additional year. Transferred points will have the same rules regarding use and banking.

Thanks so much Doc, you're a fountain of information!
So if their points are a 2006 Uy,begin for their year unknown to me right now, when we transfer them, they'll just be lumped into the same year and banking privileges as our own? Sorry I seem slow, ...details!
Oh, just one more, someone pm'ed me with info stating that any acct that has points transferred into it, can't be used to transfer for that Uy at all after that, even the points that arn't the transferred ones? even to another acct that's owned by us? But This isn't much of an issue with us, we always find a way to use ours...somehow....
