HI,

Looking to go on the 11th Feb for 2 nights using the kids go free offer...found a great deal on Lastminute.com staying at New York Hotel with selfdrive eurotunnel crossing for about £500 (all in, expect petrol and spending money) only problem with Lastminute.com it does not give crossing times...so we could either get an early morning - which would be good, but if we get a late crossing then we still have to drive once we get there....and get there late we lose a day at the park, only really giving us all day Sunday then no idea of crossing time on the Monday....cos there are 3 kids (age, 5, 2 and 1) not sure if to risk it....

What do you think....

Definitely get the early ferry if you can, if you're only there for two nights.

OMG, this is a hard one. Is there a facility to email them to ask before you book?

I'd go for the early morning crossing. If you are quite far from ferry port what about cheap travel lodge on Friday night :)

Hello,

Looking at the last minute.com site I came up with £532.00

Does this match your price.

If not ignore the following.

I went on disneylandparis.com and entered 11th Feb 2006 for 2 Nights, 2 adults and children under 11 but older then 3 and came up with,

Hotel: Disney's Hotel New York®
Package: CLASSIC -15% OFFER
Arrival date: February 11, 2006
Departure date: February 13, 2006
Price from*: 392.70 GBP

That leaves £138 for Eurotunnel, which is easy for that money www.eurotunnel.com you could then pick whatever times you want easily. Average price depending on what time you book is about £112.

Or if you fancy a sea adventure theres usualy a decent ferry deal on www.ferrysavers.com

thanks for your replies.....I also looked at the Disneyland Paris site and then at the eurotunnel and it does come up cheaper - so we are going to book it :) yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee have never taken the kids to DLP (they have been to Florida) so going to leave it as a surprise... just hope the weather is kind to us (what is it like in Feb???)

Also think we might go for the Newport Bay and upgrade to the Admiral - what do you think???

Getting excited now..

Nat

Whats the price difference involved between New York & New Port?

If you have two kids the distance and the shorter walk from the park might be worth more.

And New York Style pudding at breakfast is worth any upgrade :rotfl2:

Glad you are getting something sorted out. Remember you can add the dates of your holiday here
