Urgent Ebay selling question

I have an auction that ends today for a costume. A bidder bid on it twice. I just got an email from the bidder asking me how to get of of buying it saying that it won't fit. I thought that once you bid it was an obligation to complete the deal?

Any suggestions?

Leaving negative feedback won't matter as the bidder has 0 feedback ( I usually put in my ad not to bid if you have 0 feedback and of course this time I didn't) and has just created the account they used to bid.

Although technically yes, it is an obligation to complete the purchase, you cannot force them to pay and you would have a big hassle trying to resolve it through eBay.

Your best bet, in my opinion, is to cancel that person's bids and let the next highest bidder be the winner, or cancel the auction and relist it.

Check with eBay though, I am sure this is covered in their FAQ because a lot of people are idiots. Bidding twice then figuring out it won't fit? Moron!
