I want to make some mousse (with the recipe on the Dutch Processed Chocolate label). It calls for one envelope of gelatin but I only have a can of gelatin with the scoop. Can anyone help me out?? :confused3 Thanks!!

(This is my 1st time in this forum. ;) )

I was able to find this...

"One envelope of granulated unflavored gelatin = 1/4 ounce = 7 grams = 2 1/2 teaspoons of granulated unflavored gelatin equals about 4 gelatin leaves."

Does this sound accurate to you? I think I'm gonna have to roll with it as I REALLY want to make some mousse...

My source said that a 1/4 oz envelope was a Tablespoon, but that's 3 teaspoons, not 2 1/2. :confused3
