3 years ago, DH and I ate DOWNstairs at WP. This year we want to make reservations for me, DH ,and DS (4). I know we can only make reservations for the upstairs dining room, so I wanted to know before we make these ressies if there is a dress code for upstairs? Is it basically the same menu? Will DS4 be welcome?

Thanks,
Angie

We've only dined upstairs once two years ago this March. The menu was totally different. It is quieter upstairs. The food was good but not nearly good enough to justify the prices. Our service was weird...at times too friendly and at other times our servers were not available. And I say servers because we had two..one guy and his helper! And I'm not talking about a bus boy. We very much enjoy fine dining at WDW but we won't be going back. We do love downstairs, but as you already know that's a busy place. We try to go there early or for lunch.

I thought you could make ressies for diwnstairs, you just have to call the restaurant direct. That's what I thought we did, anyway.

I'd save your money and go somewhere else. We also like downstairs but our visit upstairs was HORRIBLE. It was noisy, overpriced and our servers seemed to lose us. The food was adequate and not worth the price.

Our experience was MUCH better downstairs.
