upside down christmas tree

Yuck. I read in a magazine about someone having one here in town- I guess it does save space, but it looks too weird to me... too much like a twister or something!

I can't wait for Christmas

I love it -- 'cept for the price. If I had $600 to waste, I'd buy one in a heatbeat. It's pretty cool-looking. (And the line about getting more presents under the tree is a big selling point with me!)

That's got to be the ugliest tree I've ever seen. Nope give me a normal shaped tree any day.

No. For some reason (I have no idea why) it makes me think of a funeral home. I know, that's kind of strange...

Well it IS different, but no I would not buy one.

Nope, I wouldn't get one b/c to me they are ugly and a tree shouldn't be upside down, especially a Christmas tree!

It looks like a fir covered margarita! :rotfl2:

:sad2: No way. I think it's the dumbest thing I've seen in awhile. I heard about it on Regis and Kelly.

It almost seems sacrilegious to me to flip it upside down just as it is for a crucifix. I like my traditions and I'll stick to the traditional tree.

My parents have something similar to this, but theirs has less branches. They love it cuz they can put it up right in the middle of the room, it has plenty of room underneath for presents, and since the branches are kind of sparse, it is easy to decorate.

It is not something I would have though, but I can see why someone would.

Well Target has them for slightly better prices between $300-$500.

Personally, I think it is plain ugly. I like my trees upright and normal. Look at some of the other trees target has, they are just plain weird. Like these .

That's pretty strange too - kind of like something you might see in the deepest part of the ocean...

Sadly, I probably couldn't scrape up the $300 for the low end one. I've always been a non-traditionalist of sorts, so I guess that's why this tree appeals to me.

Hmm... maybe mrsv98 was on the right track... looking like a "fir covered margarita!" :cool1:

well this year we have a new kitten and I'm terrified about what she'll do to the tree so an upside down one is looking pretty good to me!
