Is anyone upset about being limited to 3 fastpasses a day like I am? I am used to using the fastpasses all day and using at least 6 a day! And you can only choose 1 out of the tier 1 category! During busy season it is just not enough for one day! If you are you need to write to Disney and let them know. (guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com)This is part of what they replied to me...

Disney will always listen to what our guests want and if there is great enough demand for increasing the amount of Disney's FASTPASS+® selections per day then we will seriously look into raising the limit. There are more guests than just yourself that have mentioned your displeasure with the amount selections you are given, and we will look at the system to make sure we do what is best for our guests.

You must be new here. ;)

All the same, :welcome:

There might be a few other people here who're concerned about that... :rolleyes1 ;)

From their reply, Disney's clearly hearing about it. :teeth:

Oh I am so glad I found other people who are upset. (that sounds silly) :rotfl: I posted on some Disney pages on FB and not many people seemed to care!!! (yes I am new here) So is everyone complaining to Disney so they change things??

You have found your people. :)

And soon you'll probably find a few who aren't your people. ;)

Welcome to the DIS! :cool1:

Welcome to the DIS! Don't take any of the comments personally. It's been a very hot topic for some time now and if you take 15 minutes to read some of the FP+ threads you will quickly get a feel for the mood. You definitely found your people... keep smiling, things will work themselves out in time. Disney is currently in a transition period and they have made a few (ok many) mistakes along the way. I personally feel bad for anyone returning in the next 3 to 6 months until all of the issues get ironed out.

Due to our touring style, it won't really affect me all that much; however, I do think that 3 FPs is not enough.

I personally think that this should be a good setup:
  • Onsite guests get 3 FP+ that they can schedule in advance
  • Everyone (including onsite guests) can get an additional 3 day of FPs initially, then after the first day of FP is used, they could get another one (or two or three, if they have already been used as well)

This would provide a benefit for onsite guests and still provide a method that all guests can pull as many FPs as they used to, they just wouldn't have to run from attraction to attraction to do so.

Yup, it chased us away. Never though we'd go elsewhere, but that was enough.

Now there is an interesting recommendation on how it should of been designed. Obviously to late to change the current system but I like the concept of leveraging the existing FP- and making it digital :).. My Disney experiences unfortunately are not the norm which makes things difficult to debate because I know they are unrealistic for many people. We easily could pull 10+ (FP-) tickets on any given day. Now that FP- is being removed, FP+ (limited to 3), no FP+ park hopping and the tier system it is a significant change for all of us veterans.

I truly believe Disney will make the appropriate changes and "hopefully" provide an equal experience for onsite and offsite guests. Even though we always stay on site, Florida residence who have always supported the world should be entitled to the same experiences as everyone else.

At the present time it looks like the same for our family. We also considered becoming DVC members last year and due to all of the changes have placed that on hold as well..

Would be difficult to measure however interesting if possible to know how many guests are cruising this year vs. a trip to the world!

Three is less than six?

3 FP per day is really not all that great, especially since it's 3 period regardless of how many parks you may visit during the day. We had an unfortunate incident in Dec and while it was resolved satisfactory for us, one could still pull legacy FP which relieved the issue altogether. I am not a fan of FP+ much at all. It's causing way too much over planning and we do not care to have our trips planned to the minute. FP+ should be simple, get rid of this "ahead of time" nonsense, keep it the way it was and you can only make your selections the day of attendance. This system needs quite a bit of tweaking. While I'm bummed we are only going once this year, I'm not all bummed because hopefully much of this will be sorted out by the time our trip rolls around!

Ditto. I actually don't think it'll have much impact on my family long term, because most of us didn't use three FPs a day anyhow, but I think things will go a lot smoother once the CMs, at least, get familiar with the system.

I think so. Maybe Robo will pop in to confirm though. :teacher:

I'm having a little trouble with it. Am I supposed to carry the 2?

Oh honey, you aren't alone. Just late to the party. Welcome. We have cookies, and I spiked the punch.

FP+ haters club rules! :cheer2:

Are we sure, though, that the limit is 3? I mean, we all know things are changing so fast.
