Uprading to AP- Ticket Credit

When I upgrade my hopper tickets to an AP in November, do I get credited the price I paid for my tickets or the current ticket pricing? They were purchased as separate tickets through Disney but back in the beginning of the year before they upped the pricing. Thanks

Since you bought them directly from Disney, you would get credited for the price you paid.

Had you bought them from a reseller, you would get credit for the full, current gate price.

What about bridging after a price increase? We booked the Disney visa SPD discount today for Feb and plan to bridge those tickets to Ap's when we get there. If tickets go up in October will we get the price we paid or the new price? I know it used to be that you got current gate price as long as tickets had been used prior to bridging.

Bridging applies when you buy discounted tickets, which does include tickets that are part of a package, because they're sold at a discount from Disney ticketing to Disney resorts. Since bridging brings the tickets up to gate price, it won't matter if there's a price increase. You don't need to use the tickets in order to have the bridging done.
