Uploading Pictures

Can you please tell me about uploading pictures while at Disney? We had our first trip in Sept. 07 and somehow lost about 800 pictures from our memory card. I've had it checked out by computer techs, professional digital photographers- no one can get the pics back or tell what happened. Anyway, we're planning another trip and want to be prepared. How do the photography centers in the parks work? What do I need to do? Do I take my own disks? How long does it take? Tell me everything you can so I'll be an expert next time. I do have a kodakgallery account? Can I upload to that?

were the computer techs experienced in data recovery..??

I was able to recover over 10,000 pics from a hard drive that had been formatted and then had windows reinstalled on it..

the files might be there if they haven't been written over..

The people who tried said they had recovered pics in the past. When everyone tried it locked up the computers everytime.
