We are making our first trip home in November. Because my family is hoping to go again next October, we're considering Annual Passes. However, we're also vacationing with my sisters, and have used points to book them 3 nights in a studio at OKW.

Can we use our DVC discount to buy them UPH since they are staying on points? More importantly, could they drop the last day? (They have an early morning flight out on the last day and won't be able to use the parks.)

Yes.

Also, yes.
Technically, the rules do not permit dropping of days. However, in practice, the CMs do it all the time. I have never read of anyone who was denied (dropping either arrival or departure day) at a DVC resort when they were staying on points.

Technically the discount is limited to members and guests staying in the SAME unit with the member. In reality they have generally given the discount to anyone staying on points even when the member was not even present. And while the rules state that LOS includes check in AND check out day, they have almost always allowed on to drop either the first or last day and usually both of late.

When we checked in, our guests were able to get the discount and charge their passes to their own credit card.
