UPH DVC discount

has anyone purchased the UPH's with the dvc discount. we have already made ressies for our first trip home to SSR this july 4th - 13th and all we need now are park tickets.

there seem to be so many brokers out there with so many different ticket options. we may only visit PI maybe once or twice and maybe a water park once or twice so i would just need only a few options.

i was thinking of purchasing a basic AP and just using the DVC or AP discount to buy one day or 2 day passes to PI and water parks.

this is the best place i feel to ask so any help would be greatly appreciated

The break-even for regular APs is 8 days, for PAPs it's 11 (?). That being said, we always get PAPs for our trips because we spend a minimum of 9 days per trip and we usually get 2 or 3 trips out of each PAP (and we like waterparks & PI a lot).

The UPH with discount is fine if you're only going once (we used them for our family when we took them over Thanksgiving), but I think your best value for the money is the AP or PAP. The only problem is it makes it way to easy to go 'home.'
