Currently I'm booked for lagoon view at Beach Club. Only wanted standard but lagoon view was the cheapest they had available for my dates. Now that I'm looking at the prices, I'm thinking why not upgrade to CL since I'm already paying more than I wanted too. With my Armed Forces salute the upgrade to CL would only be about $60 more per night.

Trying to see if the extra $60 is worth it? We aren't doing DDP so we would use CL for breakfast every morning except the morning we are doing Tusker house. Also several days we have late, heavy lunches and I'm thinking the appetizers along with a light snack in the room might be enough to be dinner.

Any input?

we enjoy cl and i find the lounge offerings to be great for a light dinner. i cant eat anymore than one big meal a day at disney. that said....i didnt love bc lounge and dont know that i would stay cl there again. check the bc thread and the cl thread for other opinions on bc cl. i think some really like it...and we were only there one night.

CL is awesome service at BC. We had a suprise upgrade one stay and were quite impressed. Although, I hear now the offerings are less as people were actually using the CL offerings as meal plans.

Even without your 40% off discount it is worth it. So....... Yes. Upgrade to CL is worth it. The only problem with this is you will desire CL for now on (after you experience it).

Now as far as trying to get your money's worth by trying to eat and drink in the CL lounge, I wouldn't change anything in your schedule. Try to just enjoy CL the times you happen to want to go back to your room for a break from the park action. That's it....... It will be worth it. I promise:)

We have stayed at the Poly CL several times and we love it. You get breakfast every morning, snacks and drinks at lunch, appetizers at 5 and dessert and cordials at 7. It is also nice to have somewhere to go besides your room. The amenities are nicer too like turndown and robes in the room. We will definitely have a difficult time going back to non CL rooms.

If you have not stayed CL at any other resort in Disney, you might like BC CL. IMO BC CL was not worth it on many different levels when compared to others in Disney. Out of all CL I feel it ranks last on my list. I will not stay there again, and I'm just sharing according to my experience. Other people may have a different experience and opinion.

We have stayed CL at Poly twice & GF & BC CL was the one we didn't like at all! Very small lounge, very long walk From room to lounge. We had a problem with our room being dirty when we checked in spoke to CL CM about it before heading to EP come back it was never cleaned.

Called for a manager who refused to move us ( it was sept so it wasn't full) rooms & hallway very shabby looking but my understanding is a refurb is scheduled at first of the yr..

Bluejasmine, that was the MAJOR problem we had with BC CL. I didn't want to go into details because I've mentioned it on the boards before. But the room was not dirty, it was FILTHY, and the bath tub and toilet were absolutely gross . It was so bad, it ruined it for us.

The room was very nice, but obvious it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We were only a few feet way from the tiny, tiny....did I mention tiny lounge? Also the food offerings were not as good as the other CLs.

i have stayed in cl
in beach club in 2006

the service are great and you are in the lobby in 2 second you walk from you room to elevator and you are out

the breakfast room was cute and great and i remember in the evening we eat something first of go in the park

Yes!!! Trying CL can be very dangerous. The same thing happened to us. We have stayed CL ever since. Even the kids are spoiled.
