Upgrading to AP

Hi All,
Decided to come here- before I call Disney- to see what you all have to say....
Disney is currently offering Canadians 25% off of park tickets. So a $400 10 day pass will be 300 instead of 400. I am wondering if I can use this ticket to upgrade to an AP- and will I get credit for the full $400 the ticket is worth...or will I just get credit for what I paid ($300)? Any help you can give me with this would be awesome! Thanks in advance

Are you ordering this as part of a package? Or is it a standalone purchase directly from WDW?

I'm about 80% sure that the Canadian promotional tickets aren't price bridged if upgraded. I'll check when I get a chance to make sure.

They are not part of a package. It's direct from DW. I don't think they can be price bridged to an AP, but still a great deal.

Disney bridges tickets because, when you buy them from a third party, Disney has no idea what you paid for them. When you buy a ticket directly from Disney, they know exactly how much you paid. So, that's what you get credit for.

Sorry to boost an older thread, but I'm wondering whether you have encountered any of these now that they've been available for a while and, if so, what the final determination was on the bridging?
