Upgrading to AP using multiple park hoppers

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Would like to use the 5 day hoppers we have to upgrade to the Signature APs. Thinking of picking up the SoCall City pass to get access to Sea World and LegoLand. Would like to use the 3 Day hopper portion as well that comes with the SoCal pass towards the cost of the Signature AP. Possible?

No. You can not combine ticket media to upgrade to upgrade to an Annual Pass.

Limitations and Conditions for Ticket Upgrades

• Only the amount paid for the Disneyland Resort ticket may be used toward the upgrade to an Annual Passport at the current price.
• Only one (1) theme park ticket may be applied toward the upgrade to the Annual Passport; tickets may not be combined for an upgrade.
• The Guest purchasing the upgrade must be the Guest who used the ticket for Theme Park admission.
• Special event tickets and the full value of Southern California CityPass tickets may not be used for upgrades to an Annual Passport.
• The Passport will be backdated to begin on the first day that the theme park ticket was used.
• Unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for a wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket may be applied toward the upgrade to an Annual Passport.

While there have been a few reported if isolated cases of Cast Member making magic happen, nope..can't combine. Upgrades can only be one single ticket value and actual payment to make up the difference.

If you did not have the 5 day tix, the solution would be buy the SoCal City Pass and upgrade those after using your Magic Morning, but sounds like you already have the 5 day purchased.

Thanks for the replies, buying the SoCal passes through Costco, would be cheaper than the 3 day PH credit would have been. Thought I had come up with some awesome Dad math there for a second!
