Ok...I am trying to do the math in my head and am getting confused.

I purchased a 5 day MYW Base ticket from UT. I paid X amount including tax. When I look at Disney website and look at cost of 5 day MYW base ticket and it is Y amount including tax. I know I need to use it one day then upgrade. So do I take the Y amount including tax then subtract it from what the DVC AP cost is and it will be the difference I will pay at upgrade? Or is there a sort of depreciation when you use it that first day? I am getting myself more and more confused as I think about it.

ALSO...to top it off....my Premium Annual Pass expires the week before we go. So I think when I upgrade, I can upgrade to the renewal not a new pass cost? Also can I upgrade to a regular AP and not a premium AP? Or am I stuck upgrading to a premium AP since that is the ticket that will be expiring prior to all of this.

Thanks to anyone that can unconfuse me!! HA!

Subtract the Y amount.

You can upgrade to ANY type of AP (change the kind of AP, if you like) at the renewal price.

No penalty for USING one or more days of the new ticket before upgrading.
